This is where I hope to post information and progress reports on how I am manifesting into reality a new self sufficient lifestyle for the 21st century. I hope to demonstrate that living a high tech and spiritual lifestyle need not be at the expense of the planet and the other beings on it.
It is my intention to become the ultimate conscious creator of my life, by that I mean that I am the ultimate authority of what happens in my life and with that authority I am choosing to become as self sufficient as I can in all areas of my life, from growing my own food to harvesting and storing my own water. It has never been so easy to become self sufficient, but funny as it seems it has also never been so difficult.
As more and more people start to uncover the long forgotten path of self sufficiency the easier it becomes for everybody to achieve also. Self Sufficiency doesn’t have to be like life was in the 1800’s, well unless of course your into that kinda self abuse 
Eco Self Sufficiency doesn’t mean you have to give up technology, personally I can’t imagine my life without my laptop and the internet!
The other aspect of this blog is to prepare for the coming ‘changes’ these may or may not manifest depending on the choices that we make as a whole. These ‘changes’ range from the effect of global warming and the possible passing of Planet X through our solar system.
The above changes can and are hotly debated, but one change that can’t be ridiculed is the coming Solar cycle 24 which is due to start in earnest in 2009 and this will have possible major implications for this planet and our way of life.
So instead of adopting the victim mentality and expecting my government and the governments of the world to take responsibility for me, I will assume responsibility for myself by preparing and being ready to adapt to these times.

I believe this blog’s goals and desires are in a positive focus ( I really like the video too)
I believe the problems we face today are rather simple.
We live in an abundant and affluent society, therefore, we have become insensitive to others less fortunate , and have forgetten their needs.
I believe we have turned our backs on our God (even thoses of us who think we haven’t) and therefore in turn turned our hearts on our fellow man.
I agree with your focus and plan, I just differ with the path to take to get there.
I am as guilty as any and judge no one.
We as a society need to be faithful to our Creator, and I believe everything else will then proceed in a forward direction.
