Project Basics

We are in the process of finding some land to start our little project, we are currently talking to an estate agent in central portugal about a small parcel of land, about 2.5 acres in size. We have just been informed that there are two other parcels of land neighbouring the land we are interested in.

If we can purchase all three parcels of land, it will bring our total of land available to just short of 10 acres – not a bad little homestead.

The land is a good mixture of pine tree and olive trees, the neighbouring land is very overgrown so that will take alot of work to clear.

The aim of our project is always evolving to a higher nature, but in a nutshell here is what we are currently manifesting:

• Land that is free from mortgage any form of debt.
• Provide as much as our own organic food as possible.
• Demonstrate that living with nature need not mean living like a ‘primitive’ human.
• Provide our own clean water for drinking and bathing.
• Create an area for Spiritual learning and introspection.

UPDATE:

I received an email today from the estate agent in Portugal, the land owner has rejected our initial offer and has decided to sell the land to his neighbour. Oh well such is life, the estate agent informed us today that another property of similar size has come on the market, so I am awaiting information on this.
